“Affirmative consent is a knowing, voluntary, and mutual decision among all participants to engage in sexual activity. Consent can be given by words or actions, as long as those words or actions create clear permission regarding willingness to engage in the sexual activity. Silence or lack of resistance, in and of itself, does not demonstrate consent. The definition of consent does not vary based upon a participant’s sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.”

That’s the definition I’m going with. And in the case of your example, to switch positions both parties need to participate. Those would be the ‘actions’ the definition talks about, so no in that case it’s not ‘accidental rape’. You can take basically any idea and take it to extremes to make it absurd.

As for saying ‘yes’ like a broken record, I will admit to doing that *smirk* It sounds like “Oh yes, oh yes, oh yes!” And um, I’ve not had any complaints about it.
