There’s a bit confusion here I see.

The overwhelming majority of stories, including the weekly prompts, are and always will be, free for all. The locked member stories, will be one a week. In addition to the one member story per week, we will get special editions. The special editions will be locked as well.

Any revenue generated trough memberships, is going straight back into the community. If you take a peek at the addressbar next time you see a story in The Weekly Knob, you might notice we’ve already started applying the principle. It’s no longer medium.com/theweeklyknob we are now our very own theweeklyknob.com :) Okay so our own proper domain is a small step, but it’s a step, to getting a real internet presence. Next up, seeing what sort of advertising, and where, we can buy to get more people reading all your stories.
