When I was working seriously on my art, I sculpted with carton and paper and other recycled materials. This sort of thing

But I haven’t been doing anything since the birth of my son 4 years ago. Your challenge was like a sign to me saying “It is time”. However cutting, pasting, drying before the second layer…That is not happening in 30 minutes. So I decided to draw. Which is not my thing at all. Which makes it both cringe worthy and more interesting.

I took “Desire” as my theme. And my drawings are just pencil.

Day 1: I am in a long distance relationship. What I desire this day is a kiss

Day 2: It’s been such a long day what I really desire is a long night’s sleep

Day 3: The People I love seem to be stressed out and angry. I desire to be their source of calm and comfort

Day 4: The Fair is building up in town. My little boy is so excited, his desire to go on the rides becomes my own

Day 5: Season premiere of Doctor Who! I have been looking forward to this for months. I desire to cuddle up to my partner and watch it together. Too bad that’s not possible

Day 6: Feeling kind of lonely. I desire to make love

Day 7: I broke a pair of shoes and I’m a bit upset about it. Now I really desire to go out shoe shopping. It will have to wait to next week.
